Hello! My name is Sofia, and I am joining the ArtsQuest team as the Volunteer Department Intern this summer! I am from Easton, PA but spend most of the year in Amherst, MA as a student at Amherst College. I am majoring in Architectural Studies and Sociology. At Amherst, I also work as a campus tour guide and student orientation coordinator. In terms of extracurriculars, I sing soprano for The Sabrinas (one of Amherst’s six acapella groups) and perform in Amherst’s one and only (and best) improv group, Mr. Gad’s House of Improv! 

When I have free time at school, I enjoy the occasional Zumba class and pickleball game with my friends. Outside of school some of my favorite hobbies include watching HGTV, sketching buildings, baking pies, reading for fun, and eating oysters. This summer I am also taking a digital photography class, so I hope I can add that to the list in the future! I am very excited to meet you all through my work with the volunteer program. It’s going to be a great summer!
