June 2025 Volunteer Spotlight: Eric Eichfeld

This month, the Volunteer Department is proud to shine the spotlight on Eric Eichfeld! Eric has been a dedicated ArtsQuest volunteer for over a decade. His commitment and enthusiasm have earned him a place in our prestigious 1,000+ Hours Club, with a commemorative plate proudly displayed on the second floor of the ArtsQuest Center.

Eric’s love for music is evident in everything he does. You’ll find him at nearly every music-related event on campus. From summer nights at Levitt Pavilion, to performances at the Musikfest Café, and even behind the scenes as a stagehand during Musikfest. His reliability and positive spirit make him an invaluable part of our team.

We are incredibly grateful for Eric’s unwavering support and countless hours of service. His contributions help us further our mission of enriching the Lehigh Valley through the arts.

Congratulations, Eric, and thank you for being an essential part of the ArtsQuest family!

Q:  How did you get started volunteering here at ArtsQuest?
A: I started volunteering back in 2013 through an acquaintance that recommended it for me as I really loved listening to music

Q: What are some of your favorite hobbies?
A: I love watching sports, especially college football and baseball. I also tend to love being outdoors whether it’s hiking or just enjoying nature. I also am a bit of an avid video gamer.

Q: Did you have any favorite bands or performances you’ve seen while volunteering here? Is there any particular band you’d love to see here live?
A: There are so many bands I’ve seen live through the years of volunteering here, but 3 bands have come to mind as the most memorable to me. The bands are Delta Rae, The Struts and Shinedown. As far as bands who I would love to see here live; The pretty Reckless, Alter Bridge, Muse, and so many others, it’s hard to narrow it down!
