July 2025 Volunteer Spotlight: Angela Caravella

As we gear up for Musikfest, we’re proud to spotlight one of our dedicated volunteers who has truly made a difference. Angela Caravella has been a vital part of the Musikfest team for about 15 years, primarily managing the Oasis at the Wind Creek Steel Stage with great enthusiasm!  

Angela’s commitment doesn’t stop there, she also generously volunteers her time at Christkindlmarkt, helping to make both ArtsQuest events memorable for everyone.

Q:  What are some of your favorite things to do in your free time?
A: I love to travel and spend time with friends. Playing mini golf and fruit picking are some of my favorite things to do in the summer in addition to volunteering at Musikfest of course!

Q: What’s been your favorite live performance at Musikfest so far? Are there any acts you’re especially excited to see this year?
A: There have been so many phenomenal Musikfest performances every year I’ve volunteered and attended the festival, but my favorite was when the B-52s performed, I was there with my best friend, and we heard so many favorite songs we knew and learned a bunch of songs we’d never heard before like Quiche Lorrainne!  

This year at Musikfest I’m really looking forward to seeing Third Eye Blind, the last time I saw them was at Crocodile Rock in Allentown back when I was still in college and had a blast with my friends. 

Q: You’ve been volunteering at Musikfest for a while—what tips or advice would you share with someone joining us for the first time?
A: First, welcome to volunteering at Musikfest! You are going to have a great time and meet so many wonderful guests and fellow volunteers!  Never hesitate to ask questions, drink plenty of water and enjoy everything you can around you at the festival.  We are all here together to put on a great event for our community and beyond, take pride in that we are part of something bigger than ourselves that brings others joy!
