Have a TBR full of spooky reads? Make the perfect bookmark to go along with it! In this beginner friendly class, student will use basic embroidery techniques to create their own spooky, coffin shaped bookmark out of felt! Various embroidery designs will be available for students to chose from, or you can create your own.

Nicole Gencarelli is an arts administrator and artist based in the Lehigh Valley. Her artistic background is in painting, fiber arts, printmaking, mixed media, and art history. She has an ongoing fiber series of animal skeleton embroideries, which are inspired by her childhood fondness for natural history and natural curiosities. Her work has been exhibited locally and regionally since 2010.

Location Information:
The Main Library is located at 11 W Church St. in Bethlehem. There is free on-street parking around the library, most with 1 or 2-hour time limits. On weekdays after 5 p.m. and all day on Saturdays, parking is available in the garage beneath the library. To get to the Laros Room, enter the library and go to the second floor via stairs or elevator.
