Celebrate the beauty of Fall through acrylic painting a still life, featuring pumpkins, gourds, and fall foliage with all the beloved hues of autumn.

This class will provide a seasonal and festive introduction to painting still life and use of acrylic paint. We will design a still life collaboratively as a class, ensuring that all students feel engaged and excited about their subject matter!

Students will receive guidance and structured exploration around developing fundamental still life painting skills through experience, learning to observe and translate visual elements into their paintings, and focusing on techniques like value relationships, color blending, and composition.

Students will leave this workshop with a beautiful fall themed still life to hang as decoration, gift to a friend or loved one, or simply enjoy and draw inspiration from! All experience levels are welcome.

Location Information:
The Artist Garages at 520 Hamilton-Bay 1 is located at 520 Hamilton St in Allentown. While the address is for Hamilton St, the Artist Garages are accessed via Maple St. near the intersection with Bayard Rustin Way. (It is directly across the street from the Bradbury Sullivan LGBT Community Center.) Nearby parking includes the Community Deck parking garage (located at 13 S 6th St. in Allentown, PA) and metered on-street parking. Classes will occur in Bay 1. Click here to learn more.
