In this after school series, the students will learn how to empower their storytelling skills to speak their truth, ignite their future while modernizing their own storytelling ritual. The students will also learn community agreements to hold the sacred space of storytelling which includes being seen, heard and witnessed by others as they ascend into the best versions of themselves through practices of kindness, compassion, non judgment and empathetic listening. Additional skills to be practiced will be breathing for storytelling and thriving, free writing and community agreements to practice outside of the after school program.
