Meet the Teaching Artist
Jenn Thompson is a Lehigh Valley native – she grew up in Macungie and now lives in Bethlehem with her husband and small herd of rescue animals. She took a one-night wheel throwing class in 2019 and never looked back – now with experience with various forms, techniques, and clay bodies she especially enjoys closed forms, sgraffito, and functional pieces. A life-long learner, Jenn enjoys learning from many different artists and taking tips from each to create her own personal style. A true hobbyist, Jenn believes there is no one way to be a ceramicist and enjoys helping people in their journey to uncover individual inspiration and fostering her local community art environment.
