One Day Wheelthrowing Workshop (Session B)
One time wheel workshop is a fun and immersive way to get creative and try throwing pottery on the wheel! This 2.5 hour class includes demonstration, personal coaching and assistance, and an overall fun time. Students can choose one piece to be fired and pick from a selection of glazes. Pieces will be fired and glazed by the instructor and ready for pick up in approximately 4 weeks.
Jenn Thompson
Jenn Thompson is a Lehigh Valley native – she grew up in Macungie and now lives in Bethlehem with her husband and small herd of rescue animals. She took a one-night wheel throwing class in 2019 and never looked back – now with experience with various forms, techniques, and clay bodies she especially enjoys closed forms, sgraffito, and functional pieces. A life-long learner, Jenn enjoys learning from many different artists and taking tips from each to create her own personal style. A true hobbyist, Jenn believes there is no one way to be a ceramicist and enjoys helping people in their journey to uncover individual inspiration, and fostering her local community art environment.
