Accessibility at ArtsQuest

The SteelStacks campus is designed to be accessible to guests with disabilities. 

• Step-free access to public buildings and performance spaces 
• Elevators where applicable 
• Accessible restrooms 
• Clearly marked accessible entrances 
• Campus pathways designed for wheelchair and mobility device access 
• Braille signage/wayfinding inside buildings 

Guests needing assistance during festivals or large-scale events are encouraged to contact us in advance so we may best support their visit.

The Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks is equipped with an assisted listening system to enhance audio accessibility for guests in need. 

Assisted listening is conveniently available for all performances at the Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks using your own earpods/headphones/other listening aides via the app ListenWIFI. Using your personal headphones or listening aide while connected to the app, you will hear sound directly from the Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks stage. 

• To access the app while in the direct vicinity of the Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks stage:  
  • Log into our Wifi Network  
  • Wifi Network: Levitt Lawn, Password: Steelstacks! 
  • Download the Listen WIFI app 
  • Scan the QR Code
• Guests may use compatible personal hearing aids with T-coil technology 
• Advance requests to our box office (tickets@artsquest.org ) are recommended to ensure device availability 

The Levitt Pavilion is a grass lawn with a slight grade. There are large cement seating blocks at the rear of the lawn that can be used for seating. Visitors are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs to non-gated/free performances at the Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks. 

The Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas offers: 

• Accessible seating locations 
• Closed captioning devices for select screenings (for movies which provide it to us) 
• See movie listings for information if closed captioning and/or hearing assistance are available and look for the below symbols
• Please ask about assistive listening devices at our box office when purchasing your movie ticket. 
• Step-free entry and accessible restrooms 

Guests are encouraged to inquire at the box office (tickets@artsquest.org ) regarding captioned screenings and available assistive technology. 

Accessible parking spaces are available throughout the SteelStacks campus in designated ADA-compliant parking areas. 

• ADA parking spaces found throughout our campus are clearly marked and can also be found on our campus map (see ArtsQuest.org, Where We Are) 
• Note that, in some cases, closest parking may be 1 block away. Drive up/drop off may be preferred 
• A valid accessible parking placard or license plate is required to park in designated ADA accessible parking spaces 
• During major festivals and events, additional accessible parking and drop-off locations may be designated 

Guests with specific parking questions are encouraged to contact our box office (tickets@artsquest.org ) with any questions prior to arrival. 

For ticketed ArtsQuest performances: 

• ADA-compliant seating is available in all ticketed venues 
• Companion seating is available to purchase, if needed  
• Seating locations are available at point of purchase (online, phone, or in person) 
• Guests are encouraged to notify the box office of accessibility needs at the time of purchase 

Our box office team (tickets@artsquest.org ) is committed to accommodating mobility, sensory, and seating needs whenever possible. Please don’t hesitate to call our box office team (610-332-1300) to assist with ADA purchasing needs. 

ArtsQuest is proud to serve and provide creative learnings opportunities for more than 10,000 children annually through classes, camps, and arts education programs. We work to ensure programs are accessible and inclusive. 

Adaptive supports may include:

• Adjustable-height tables and workstations 
• Sensory-friendly accommodations when possible 
• We’re pleased to encourage everyone to benefit from two sensory-friendly rooms which will be part of the ArtsQuest Creative Factory powered by PPL 
• Flexible instruction methods 
• Staff collaboration with parents/guardians to support individual learning needs 
• Attendance with personal aide: Students of all ages who require one-to-one assistance from a personal aide to get the most out of their class experience are welcome to bring that aide at no additional cost. Please contact visualarts@artsquest.org  at least two weeks prior to the start of your class to coordinate 

Families are encouraged to share accessibility needs during registration and/or at least 2 weeks prior to the start date of classes or camps during which assistance is needed (visualarts@artsquest.org ) so that reasonable accommodations can be arranged.
