Volunteer

Anyone can volunteer! Typical volunteer roles include admissions, ushering, beverage service and guest assistance.

• Volunteers must be at least 15 years old to participate on their own.
• Volunteers under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Volunteers ages 15–17 can help with select roles such as info booths, retail positions and other event tasks, often with parental permission.
• General volunteer roles—including admissions, ushering, pouring drinks, require volunteers to be 18 or older.
• Staging roles require volunteers to be 18+
• Positions involving alcohol service require age 21+

When you volunteer at ArtsQuest, your time makes a real impact, and we love celebrating that.

As we reach key milestones, you’ll earn rewards as small ‘thank yous’ for your dedication. Here’s what you can look forward to:

(all hours reflect annual totals)

• 30 hours: invitation to our Volunteer Breakfast.
• 100 hours: 4 cinema passes (regular screenings only).
• 250 hours: 2 Musikfest Café or SteelStacks Summer Concert Series tickets.
• 500 hours: 2 additional Musikfest Café or Summer Concert Series tickets.
• 750 hours: 2 Wind Creek Steel Stage Musikfest Tickets (best available) or $150 credit toward a Visual Arts Class.
• 1,000 hours: 2 Wind Creek Steel Stage Terrace Tickets – plus your name added to the Volunteer Wall inside the ArtsQuest Center.

And it doesn’t stop there. The program resets every 1,000 hours, so once you hit 1,001, your reward cycle starts again.

How rewards work: We calculate volunteer hours at least once each quarter. Once you achieve a milestone, you’ll receive an email with info on how to redeem. (Please note: Some tickets may not be available due to artist/venue restrictions. All glassblowing-related rewards are currently on hold pending opening of the ArtsQuest Creative Factory powered by PPL.)
