Musikfest 2026 Ranks Among Top Three Most Attended Festivals in Its History

After 10 days (and a preview night) of music, comedy, food, art and community celebration, Musikfest 2026 wrapped another memorable year in Bethlehem. From July 31 through August 9, with a preview night on July 30, the nation’s largest music festival featured 400+ performers, 500+ performances and programming across 16 stages, including 15 free stages and the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza.

Meet Eliza Rush: The Park Ranger Who Picked Up a Guitar

In another universe, Eliza Rush spent her career cataloguing trees somewhere on the shores of Lake Superior. She was a park ranger in Canada for years, she loved it deeply, and when a full scholarship came through for a specialized forestry program in Ontario, it was a genuinely serious option.

Meet Gina Royale: the small girl with big things to say!

Royale is one of 10 artists selected for the inaugural Musikfest Industry Conference Band Showcase, where emerging musicians ranging from youth performers to established local acts will receive professional coaching, perform on an official Musikfest stage and receive live feedback from talent buyers, booking agents and producers.

Meet After August: A Sound That Came Naturally

That natural musical chemistry has become the foundation of After August, a folk-inspired duo that blends traditional bluegrass with contemporary songwriting. This year, they’ll bring that sound to the Musikfest Music Industry Band Conference Showcase, where emerging artists perform for audiences, receiving coaching from industry professionals and connecting with fellow musicians.

Meet Vodou: The High School Band That Never Accepts Mediocrity

If you ask the members of Vodou what they want people to walk away feeling after a show, the answer is simple: a good time. But spend a little while getting to know them, and it becomes clear that “a good time” for this group of Lehighton, PA high schoolers requires a lot more work than the phrase lets on.

What’s New at Musikfest 2026!

The nation’s largest free, ungated music festival is back and bigger than ever! Musikfest returns for its 43rd year, transforming 50 acres across Bethlehem’s NorthSide and SouthSide into a celebration of music, food and community.
