Former steelworkers or guides trained by steelworkers will lead sidewalk and Hoover-Mason Trestle tours through the Bethlehem Steel plant site. The tours, conducted in partnership with the National Museum of Industrial History (NMIH), are held rain or shine and leave from the lobby inside NMIH, 602 E. Second Street, Bethlehem. The guides will take guests on a multi-faceted journey – from the evolution of iron making in the Lehigh Valley to the history of the Bethlehem Plant from its opening to closing, including its importance in World Wars I and II. Along the way, guests will learn about the remaining buildings on the plant site, life in the ethnic neighborhoods surrounding the plant, and what life was like working at the plant. The 1+ hour tour concludes with a question and answer session.

Know the basics, but want to learn more about painting with watercolors? With this three-week course, in-depth watercolor painting techniques will be explored that will aid students in developing more realistic and vibrant paintings. Insight into how each color reacts with one another will be reviewed, along with ways of creating contrast, light, and depth within a painting. With the help of the instructor, students will apply these new techniques by creating a small watercolor painting of a nature scene or object.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, a painted picture is even better! This workshop will walk students through the process of making a painting from an image of their choice, depicting a memory or experience they would love to immortalize on a canvas. Using acrylic paint, students will gain experience and receive guidance through the technical process, the practice of decision making in painting, and how to elevate a painting to more than just "a painting of a picture" but rather, a memory that lives on.

In this class, students will learn both the basics of watercolor paints and application, plus simple embroidery stitches and techniques to create detailed floral designs on canvas.
