"Make art and create memories in this mixed media class for families. Young artists ages 3+ and their adults will explore common materials, techniques, and experiments to use in mixed media art. Discover art history, culture, and traditions found in mixed media art, and learn fundamental principles of design, texture, and composition in a fun and supportive environment. This class will work with a variety of materials, which may include acrylic paint, watercolors, collage, fabric, found objects and more. All participants need their own ticket. Children must attend with an adult."

Learn how to combine both watercolor paints and embroidery to create a beautiful work of art! In this class, students will learn both the basics of watercolor paints and application, plus simple embroidery stitches and techniques to create detailed floral designs on canvas. By the end of class, students will have a completed embroidery hoop to display all summer long and gain new knowledge of both mediums.
