Wheelthrowing for Beginners to Advanced
This beginner friendly Intro to Ceramics class will cover basic techniques on the wheel, as well as basic handbuilding techniques in ceramics. Students will spend the 1st three weeks of class focusing on learning basic wheelthrowing, and the last three weeks of class will cover handbuilding and basic glazing techniques for finished work. The instructor will also cover how one piece can use both wheelthrown and handbuilding techniques, and students will leave with a variety of finished projects that cover both and give students foundational skills to continue their knowledge of ceramics. Finished work will be fired and available for pick up approx. 4-5 weeks after class ends, students will be notified via email for pick up.
