Today’s lineup leans heavily into indie and alternative rock, with a mix of local favorites and newer artists I’m excited to check out. Here are my picks for the day:

Roi and the Secret People
4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Highmark Blue Shield Community Stage
Roi and the Secret People are a Lehigh Valley band that’s been around long enough to have five full releases, and their sound mixes indie with classic rock and a bit of Southern influences. They’ve shared stages with names like The Smithereens and even opened a sold-out show for Corey Feldman, so it’s clear they have both the experience and the following.

Koyal
7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America Zinzenplatz
Koyal is an LA trio who all met while getting engineering degrees and decided songwriting was a better fit for them, which is a great story on its own. Their sound mixes indie rock with synth pop, and their latest album got the attention of many music outlets last year, so they’re worth catching while they’re still relatively under the radar.

Atlassian
8:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Main Street
Atlassian has been making music since 2015, building their sound throughout the years, and focusing on vocals and songwriting that leans into evoking emotions. If you’re into bands like Kings of Leon, Local Natives, or Briston Maroney, this is the act to end your night on.
