Musikfest is all about great music, unforgettable memories and amazing vibes! To keep the ‘fest safe and fun for everyone, we ask all guests to follow a few important guidelines:
🚫 Not Permitted on Festival Grounds:
For your safety and the enjoyment of others, please do not:
- Possess weapons of any kind, including items that could be used as weapons, such as: wallet chains, studded, spiked or oversized jewelry (rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.).
- Bring outside food, beverages, coolers or pitchers.
- Remove alcoholic beverages from festival grounds.
- Bring animals or pets, except trained ADA-compliant service dogs.
(Note: Emotional support animals and comfort pets are not permitted.)
- Carry large bags or backpacks. Small bags are allowed but may be searched at entry points.
- Use bikes, skateboards, rollerblades or hoverboards.
- Bring or use laser pointers or selfie sticks.
- Engage in unauthorized marketing or guest solicitation.
- Reserve chairs or tables, unless pre-arranged through ArtsQuest ticketing.
- Smoke in restricted areas, including tents, indoor venues and Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza seating
- Climb on any scaffolding, towers, stages or structures.
- Enter creeks, canals or rivers – no swimming or wading.
- Damage or deface festival property.
- Make unauthorized audio or video recording. (See recording policy for more info.)
- Wear costumes, masks or disguises without prior approval from Musikfest.
- Operate drones on or above festival grounds without specific written permission from an authorized ArtsQuest official.
- Bring umbrellas or signs into the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza venue.
Musikfest Code of Conduct
Musikfest is committed to creating a safe, clean, comfortable and enjoyable environment for all guests. The following behaviors may result in immediate removal from the festival grounds at the sole discretion of Musikfest staff:
- Unruly, disruptive, illegal or unsafe behavior
- Intoxication or impairment by alcohol or other substances that effects guest safety or enjoyment.
- Fighting, using foul or abusive language or making obscene gestures.
- Displaying obscene, harassing or indecent messages or images on signs, clothing or personal items.
- Harassing or threatening behavior towards artists, staff, volunteers, vendors or guests.
- Standing on chairs/seats or blocking aisles at any venue.
- Interfering with the performances or events in any way.
- Failing to follow the instructions of emergency responders, festival staff or event personnel.
- Violating any local, state or federal laws.
❗ Important Information:
- Guests who violate this Code of Conduct may be immediately removed from the festival grounds.
- No refunds or compensation will be provided to ejected individuals, including those with ticketed admission.
- Guests are expected to remain in their designated/ticketed seating areas when applicable, and must present tickets upon request by ArtsQuest staff, volunteers or security.
- If you observe inappropriate behavior, please report it to the nearest Musikfest staff member, security personnel or emergency responder—or call 911 in the case of an emergency.
Venue Policies & Guest Guidelines
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) / Drone Policy
All UAVs (drones), regardless of size, weight or purpose, are strictly prohibited on ArtsQuest premises, at all events and at all venues without specific written permission from an authorized ArtsQuest official.

To keep everyone safe during Musikfest, a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) has been issued by the FAA over Bethlehem, PA.
No drone flights are allowed within a 1-mile radius of SteelStacks (1NM around 40°37′01″N 75°22′32″W) and up to 400 feet above ground level, daily from July 30 through August 9, between 11AM and 11PM.
Only specially authorized flights — such as for law enforcement, emergency response, or with FAA-approved waivers are permitted.
Unauthorized drone use in this area may result in federal penalties or enforcement actions by the FAA, Department of Homeland Security, or Department of Defense.

Selfie Stick Policy
Use of photo-arms, commonly known as selfie sticks, is strictly prohibited at all ArtsQuest-operated events, including concerts, festivals and family shows.
Guests are encouraged to leave selfie sticks in their vehicles. Failure to comply may result in ejection without refund of any prepaid ticket price, if applicable.
Recording Policy
ArtsQuest’s recording policy is determined by the performing artist’s contract. In most cases, artists reserve the right to restrict all forms of photography, including cell phone use and video recording.
Video recording devices, such as GoPros or other video cameras, are strictly prohibited during all professional productions at any ArtsQuest venue.
In general, simple point-and-shoot cameras may be allowed if the following guidelines are met:
- Simple cameras are defined as still photography cameras without detachable lenses.
- Video recording, even with a cell phone, is not permitted, unless otherwise authorized by the artist.
- Flash photography, tripods and monopods are not permitted.
- Cameras and cases are subject to search upon entering the venue.
- Guests must be courteous and not obstruct the view or enjoyment of others while taking photos.
Guests seeking more information about an event’s specific recording policy should contact ArtsQuest in advance.
Search Policy
ArtsQuest reserves the right to inspect, search and wand all guests entering any ArtsQuest venue. All hand-carried items must be open and ready for inspection.
Permitted hand-carried items include, but are not limited to bags, purses, satchels, fanny packs and small backpacks.
ArtsQuest may use metal detection devices. Failure to comply with a search request will result in denied entry without refund or compensation.
Parking Lot Areas / Tailgating Policy
Tailgating is not permitted in any parking lot, including off-site or satellite locations.
Guests may gather at their vehicles but may only occupy their designated parking space. Driveways and adjacent spaces must remain clear.
Erecting tents or canopies, cooking on propane or open flame grills, consuming alcoholic beverages, playing loud music and playing lawn games such as beer pong, cornhole, frisbee or quoits is prohibited.
Freedom of Assembly
ArtsQuest and Musikfest respect and support the right to peaceful assembly. To ensure safety and organization, designated gathering areas have been established:
- SouthSide Arts District: First and Polk Streets (on the south sidewalk near the barricades).
- Historic Moravian District (North Side): Main and Church Streets (across from the Main Street Ramp Bridge).
