Wait, I Think I Know This One!
On Friday, October 23rd national touring headliner and veteran film maker Frank Vignola will host an homage show to NPR’s wildly witty & entertaining “Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me!” called “Wait, I Think I Know This One!”
And, much like its inspiration, “Wait, I Think I Know This One!” will resemble a weekly news quiz show that combines current events, humor, audience participation, and features a panel of comedians and professionals.
And (drum roll please) our panelists will include Sara Cain, Adam Oliensis & Mike Stanley, our announcer’s post will be ably manned by Walter Gottlieb and our special “Ace in the Hole” interview is Mr. Shane Cohen!
Satirical. Humorous commentary. Irreverent humor. Offering a lighthearted take on current events. Panel discussions and games. Audience participation. Panelists compete against each other and the audience. Spontaneous interviews & quizzes. Clever word play. (And maybe even a dad joke or two.)
Frank Vignola
Besides appearances on Comedy Central, Amazon Prime and SiriusXM radio, Mr. Vignola has performed at Montreal’s prestigious “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival and toured the Middle East with Armed Forces Entertainment. Frank’s acting credits include the film roles of “Eddie” in “Tilting at Windmills” (International Film Festival Manhattan), “Mr. Leibowitz” in “Game Night” (Amazon Prime) and voicing the character of “Dr. Robert” in the animated television pilot “Ben v World”. Frank is also a corporate event favorite and has shared stages with the likes of Robin Williams, Chris Rock, Joan Rivers, Howie Mandell, Bill Maher, Sarah Silverman, Mark Maron, Colin Quinn, Gilbert Gottfried and Robert Klein just to name a few.
SARA CAIN
Sara Cain is a 21-year federal government veteran, world traveler, dog mom, and professional napper who somehow manages to balance a career, family, friends, and an impressive amount of sarcasm. A proud gal from PG County, MD and Hanover, PA, she loves yoga, music, football, travel, true crime, and making people laugh. She’s survived government bureaucracy, provides unpaid IT support to her mother, and mastered the art of turning everyday life into a comedy routine. If napping were an Olympic sport, Sara would be the Michael Phelps of the event—multiple gold medals, world records, and absolutely no regrets about sleeping through the opening ceremony. Basically, she’s a highly functioning adult who has somehow managed to turn sarcasm, naps, and questionable life choices into a personality.
ADAM OLIENSIS
In his stand-up, Adam explores the lessons in humility he’s learning from his wife and especially from his children, along with the adjustments being forced on him by being a grown-up and starting to get old. Adam recently appeared on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. His comedy is on Sirius XM Radio. He has recently opened for such comedy legends and luminaries as Robert Klein, Colin Quinn, Gilbert Gottfried, and Larry Miller. He performs at comedy clubs all over New York City and the surrounding area, as well as at colleges, corporate & private events, & theaters throughout the Northeast.
MIKE STANLEY
Mike Stanley is a Delaware based stand-up comedian known for his thoughtful, conversational style and culturally observant humor. Drawing from his experiences navigating marriage, family dynamics, and environments where expectations are unspoken but heavily enforced, his comedy finds laughs in discomfort, contradictions, and quiet realizations. His material feels familiar—like a story you’ve lived but never said out loud.
WALTER GOTTLIEB
Walter Gottlieb is a comedian, host & producer in the Greater Washington, DC area. He has performed in New York, L.A., and at Church of Satire in Pennsylvania. Walter has participated in several comedy festivals, including Good Karma Comedy Festival, North Carolina Comedy Festival, Burbank Comedy Festival, Comedy Chateau Festival, Turnpike Comedy Festival, and NY Underground Comedy Festival. He is a regular host at his home club, Give a Hoot Comedy in Gaithersburg, MD. He also recently won “The Gong Show” at the Nauti Goose Saloon in North East, Maryland in September of this year, surprising everyone with his hysterical impressions.
SHANE COHEN
Shane Cohen is a clean standup and improv comedian, mechanical engineer, Distinguished Toastmaster, and Bucknell alumnus who turned a fear of public speaking into a passion for making people laugh. Shane has performed at Gotham Comedy Club, Musikfest, and Cognizant (Fortune 500). Through his workshops and upcoming book, Fear Not! Shane uses comedy to create connection and help others overcome fear, anxiety, and intimidation to transform their lives.
