Project Planning for Muralmaking (Part 2)
Join ArtsQuest for a comprehensive three-part training series designed for artists, administrators, and community leaders interested in facilitating impactful public mural projects. Led by Philadelphia-based arts leader and muralist Joseph Eduardo Iacona, this series covers the essential logistical, technical, and creative planning skills needed to bring a mural from concept to completion.
Building on Part 1, this session dives deeper into the logistical execution of muralmaking. Topics include site selection and preparation (evaluating potential sites, taking measurements, and executing physical preparation), alongside approaches to synthesizing community feedback and organizing public participation. This course will equip artists and administrators with the practical tools required to oversee the physical execution of a project.
