Holiday Cards with Adobe Illustrator (Session B)

Attendees will create their own holiday-themed card in Adobe Illustrator. A range of editable vector templates will be supplied to customize with name and holiday icons. Attendees will also gain knowledge of paper and printing process, preparing their file in a print-ready format. Fee for this course also covers 5 color print outs of their card design with shimmer envelopes.

Christina Galbiati

Christina (Tina) Galbiati is a graphic designer, artist and educator from northeastern PA with deep roots to the Lehigh Valley. Her resume includes serving as an in-house designer for the national needlecraft brand Bucilla Corporation early in her career before joining Allentown’s Musselman Advertising. There, she designed advertising and branding projects for many Lehigh Valley businesses including Lafayette Ambassador Bank, Edwards & Virginia Business Systems, Trexler Trust and Das Awkscht Fescht. Tina is also an award-winning collage artist blending analog and digital techniques informed by culture and the changing landscape of communication. Beyond the screen and canvas, she also brings her vision to the built environment as a muralist and community artist, most recently completing a large-format analog collage inspired by MLK installed at Penn State Lehigh Valley. Tina received her BFA from Kutztown University and MFA from Marywood University, and shares her expertise as an adjunct professor at Moravian University and PSU-LV where she was honored with a recent Teaching Excellence Award for part-time faculty.
