George Hrab

George Hrab is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, story teller, science advocate, producer, composer, & vigilant defender of the Theory of Gravity. He’s written and produced nine independent albums and a concert DVD; published two books; recorded over 950 episodes of the award-winning Geologic Podcast; was the drummer and musical director with The Philadelphia Funk Authority for twenty four years and hosts the concert/lecture series Seven Songs with George Hrab on YouTube. Recruiting four incredible musicians, he’s formed The George HraBand featuring Vinnie Puccio on bass, Eric Kenlin on drums and vocals, Kiera Wilhelm on vocals and percussion, and CJ Steinway on keyboards. This quintet matches George’s eclectic compositional style and masterfully plays a range of genres from rock to R&B, funk to jazz, and prog to swing.
