Don't Drop the Ball - An Object Work Workshop
In Don’t Drop the Ball- An Object Work Workshop, students will learn the spatial awareness of objects, in and around an improv scene.…Where did it come from? How heavy is it? What does it feel like? Where does it go when it is no longer needed?
The workshop will be broken down into three segments: Object Work, Environmental Object Work and Conversational Object Work.
By understanding and applying all three forms of object work, we can create incredible scene paintings that keep audiences interested and engaged.
Amber Hoppes
Amber Hoppes started her improv career in 2014. She studied improv at ArtsQuest and Upright Citizens Brigade (East) and has taken a wide variety of workshops in a lot of different places whenever she can find the time. Amber also hosts the free Improv Jamberee once a month at SteelStacks. In her spare time, Amber enjoys going to the beach, day trips to New York or Philly, watching movies and every comedy standup special known to man and sitting alone in the dark.
