Beautiful Botanical Paintings Workshop
This class will offer students a relaxing experience celebrating botanical designs through acrylic paint, leaving at the end of class with a beautiful botanical painting they may enjoy as decoration, give as a beautiful gift, or simply paint to practice some mindfulness and appreciation of nature and it’s design! Botanicals of all kind are enjoyable, and this class will introduce students to brush and material applications, design decisions, and visual tools to easily and accessibly make satisfying and beautiful botanical paintings.
Alexandra Schnabel
Alexandra Schnabel is a painter and art instructor who lives and works in Bucks County PA. Alexandra discovered her passion for oil painting at the Lehigh Valley Charter School for the Arts, and went on to earn her BFA from Pennsylvania Academy of The Fine Arts. She now enjoys creating artwork that explores the human condition and the variable emotional experience in response to the visual world, with themes that ponder the self and relationship with how we engage with the world around us. She frequently shows locally and enjoys engaging with the local art community, however she’s always looking forward to her next adventure in plein air painting, traveling, and collecting inspiration and experience with the visual world. She teaches a variety of community based classes locally as well as private lessons and creativity mentorship programs out of her home studio.
