Barkley Cove
Barkley Cove is the band to watch in the new folk scene. Founded on group songwriting and improvisation, the band fearlessly mixes genres of folk, rock, alternative, and bluegrass to create a distinctively original musical style. You’ll find Jillian Dolan on vocals/acoustic guitar, Yusuf Miller on mandolin/vocals, Silas Gross on banjo/vocal and Robert Myers on upright bass. After playing their first shows at local restaurants and bars while attending Millersville University, Barkley Cove has expanded its musical reach across Pennsylvania, most notably to Mickey’s Black Box in Lititz and Musikfest in Bethlehem. In 2024, they received the Spot Award for Best Collegiate Band from the Central Pennsylvania Music Awards. With the continued support of Pennsylvania’s music community, the group ambitiously seeks to bolster the returning audience of folk music and spread powerful messages through harmony and instrumentation.
