Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA, July 23, 2026 –  ArtsQuest is excited to announce the opening acts for the Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza during Musikfest, giving festivalgoers even more live music to enjoy before this year’s headlining performances.

From country, alternative rock, hip-hop, indie pop and soul to genre-blending artists, this year’s opening acts represent the diverse sounds that define Musikfest and embody the festival tradition of introducing audiences to artists they may discover for the very first time.

Joining previously announced opening acts St. Lucia, George Pippen and Puddles Pity Party, the opening act lineup includes:

Fabry Orihuela: Fabricio Orihuela, known artistically as Fabry, is a Uruguayan artist based in the United States since 2010. A musician, singer, and guitarist, his style blends romantic pop, ballads, and Latin rock, bringing warmth, emotion, and authenticity to every performance. Fabry is a well-loved artist in the local music scene, performing regularly at bars, restaurants, and private events throughout the area. His versatile repertoire and heartfelt interpretation allow him to connect naturally with diverse audiences. In addition to his live music career, Fabry is also a music producer and the owner of Ático Sound Productions, a studio where he currently works with emerging artists, helping them develop their sound, record their music, and create professional content to grow their careers.

Blake Proehl: Known to American Idol audiences, Proehl isn’t your everyday singer-songwriter. After achieving his lifelong dream of reaching the NFL as a wide receiver for the Minnesota Vikings, a career-ending injury during his rookie season unexpectedly led him to pursue another passion—music. A video of Proehl singing for his grandmother went viral on TikTok, earning tens of millions of views and launching appearances on American Idol. Today, his pop and R&B sound, paired with heartfelt songwriting, has earned a rapidly growing audience of nearly 800,000 TikTok followers and 175,000 Instagram followers as he continues to build his music career.

Lilly Moss: Bethlehem native Lilly Moss writes country songs for brave hearts — honest, gritty, emotionally raw music shaped by resilience, heartbreak and healing. A childhood cancer survivor, she turns real-life experience into songs that feel personal and powerful and deeply human — including her singles “Death of Me” and “Somebody Should.”

TheRealZellyZel: TheRealZellyZel is a rapper, singer, producer and performer from Pennsylvania whose music blends introspective storytelling, melodic hooks and self-produced records. After surviving a near-fatal car accident in 2024, he returned with a renewed purpose, using music to document resilience, growth and ambition. A four-time Musikfest performer, Zelly Zel has appeared on 69 News, performed throughout the Northeast and is currently celebrating the release of his latest album, Departure.

Küf Knotz & Christine Elise: Producer/MC Küf Knotz and harpist/vocalist Christine Elise have brought their unique blend of hip-hop, soul and classical traditions to various communities across the country. The unlikely pair connected and built a musical bond with a similar vision to creating positive, forward thinking music fusing boom bap era and lo-fi inspired beats supported by the harp. Their performance takes you on an era fusing, genre blending journey. And, you can dance to it. The duo has been featured on Sugarshack Sessions & NPR Music.

Chandler Walters: Georgia native Chandler Walters has quickly become one of Nashville’s fastest-rising young talents. A seasoned steel guitarist and songwriter, Walters co-wrote Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s five-times Platinum No. 1 hit “I Had Some Help,” contributed six songs to Post Malone’s F-1 Trillion album and has also co-penned tracks for ERNEST (including “I Went To College, I Went To Jail” (feat. Jelly Roll)), Bailey Zimmerman (“Is This Really Over?”), Charles Wesley Godwin (“Dead To Rights”) and more. Boasting organic, live-show inspired country sonics (with plenty of steel guitar) and a knack for modern language, Walters’ songs like “Come On Whiskey” find a proven hitmaker turning “real shit” into catchy, singalong anthems. He is signed to ERN’s Cadillac Music / DeVille Records.

Gillian Smith: Nashville recording artist Gillian Smith delivers a high-energy modern country show with powerhouse vocals, authentic storytelling and a rock-inspired edge. Having shared the stage with artists including Lainey Wilson, Parker McCollum, Cole Swindell, Craig Morgan, Jon Pardi, Lee Brice and Clint Black, Gillian has earned a reputation as both an electrifying performer and a consummate professional. Whether performing for festivals, fairs, casinos or concert venues, she creates an engaging experience that keeps audiences singing long after the final encore.

Kassi Ashton: MCA Nashville recording artist Kassi Ashton has been praised by People, Rolling Stone, Billboard and American Songwriter for her soulful vocals and fearless songwriting. Following the release of her acclaimed debut album Made From The Dirt and its expanded edition Made From The Dirt: The Blooms, Ashton received her second ACM Award nomination for New Female Artist of the Year in 2025. Kassi defies convention and continues to deliver her signature style with confessional, catchy storytelling and dynamic vocal performances on songs including critically acclaimed releases “Called Crazy,” “The Straw,” “Drive You Out of My Mind,” “Dates In Pickup Trucks,” “Heavyweight,” “California, Missouri,” “Hopeless,” “Violins” and more.

Southpaw: Southpaw is the country music trio with an East Coast attitude. The band has released two award-winning country albums, several singles and multiple music videos. Southpaw’s music has been featured on more than 600 radio stations worldwide, as well as in an episode of the acclaimed Amazon Prime series “Rust.” Modern Country Vocalist of the Year Christine Radlmann (2025 Josie Music Awards) and multi-instrumentalists Colin McConnell and Sean Garnhart comprise the band, infusing country songwriting with rock and R&B influences to create a sound that is distinctly Southpaw.

The Click Five: Originally formed in Boston in the early 2000s, The Click Five quickly gained global recognition with platinum-certified hits like “Just The Girl’ (78 million streams) and fan-favorite “Jenny” (51 million streams). As their popularity skyrocketed, they dominated Myspace as the #1 most-viewed band page. During their initial run, they cultivated a massive following across Asia, selling out arenas and headlining major festivals throughout the region. David Wimbish & the Collection: David Wimbish returns with “Heavy Love”, the deeply personal new album from David Wimbish & The Collection. Written and recorded largely in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, the album marks David’s first project created almost entirely on his own, with him writing, producing and recording the record from a studio he built in his parents’ North Carolina home. The album explores aging, heartbreak, dissolved friendships, natural disasters, nonconformity, love as action and existential uncertainty with immersive vulnerability and renewed clarity.

Ryley Tate: Ryley Tate Wilson is an indie-pop singer-songwriter and producer from Montgomery, Alabama. Rising to national prominence as a finalist on season 23 of NBC’s “The Voice” under Coach Niall Horan, he is known for his blend of Southern storytelling and pop production. He’s recently released tracks like “Party Girl” and “Norway” with his debut EP “Hurry, I’m Gone” coming September 24th. He’s a current student at Berklee College of Music in Boston and actively writes and produces his own music.

Musikfest will take place July 31 through August 9, with a preview night on July 30.
