Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA., December 4, 2025 – ArtsQuest is excited to host the Three Kings Celebration presented by PPL and sponsored by B. Braun Medical Inc. and Lagom Care. For the 14th year, this all-ages event, which is free to attend and is packed with fun-filled activities, including live music, will start at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
“One of the best ways to end the holiday season is to join us at the Three Kings festivities at ArtsQuest. Each year, this tradition is brought to life with the arrival of the Three Kings, Einstein the Camel, gifts for children, traditional Puerto Rican food and Spanish Parranda music,” said Myrna Rivera, Chair of ArtsQuest’s Latin Programming Committee. “For me, this celebration always brings back amazing memories of holiday family gatherings in our homes.”
Follow the star to Bethlehem this January as SteelStacks celebrates El Dia de los Reyes (Three Kings Day), the cherished religious and cultural tradition of many Latin American countries. During the Three Kings Celebration, children are encouraged to come to hear a reading of the Story of the Three Kings, followed by gift-giving. Kids can also take part in a variety of fun-filled activities, including arts and crafts, a visit with Einstein the Snow Camel and delicious food for purchase from Holy Infancy Church while enjoying live music. Thank you to Allentown’s Marine Toy for Tots division for their generous contributions to this event.
“There’s nothing more intimate to our culture than the celebration of the Three Kings Day. Scripturally and culturally, this traditional festivity is a reminder of the richness of Latin American folklore,” said Miguel Perez-Soto, ArtsQuest Performing Arts Board Member and Sr. Demand Planner at B. Braun Medical. “Preserving this day brings me back to my days growing up in Puerto Rico and the experience of knowing that under my bed the Magi’s and their ‘co-conspirators’ (the Camels!!) left a special present that will enlighten my holidays. It is also a time when you can capture the pulse of childhood innocence through the belief in this significant historical and cultural event. Our community will have the opportunity to enjoy this tradition in an ambiance surrounded by presents, traditional food, live music and family. Kudos to ArtsQuest and the Latin Programming Committee for keeping it alive!”
“The Three Kings activity is a cultural and religious celebration commemorating when the Three Wise Men brought gifts to the baby Jesus,” said Iris Cintron, ArtsQuest Latin Programming Committee Member. “Many Children in Latin American countries will receive their Christmas gifts on January 6 as per this tradition. We aim to keep this tradition alive in our young people!”
In the lead-up to Three Kings Day, ArtsQuest invites the community to celebrate the season with Silent Night on the Latin Side with the Clave Legacy Quintet, a special free concert that blends holiday classics with Latin jazz influences. This separate event takes place on December 20, 2025, at Palette & Pour inside ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks and offers families and music lovers a vibrant cultural experience ahead of the January festivities.
“The interpretation of seasonal melodies in Latin rhythms has always captured my attention. This spicy blend of holiday classics in Latin jazz style will surely warm your holidays,” said Miguel Perez-Soto, ArtsQuest Performing Arts Board Member and member of Clave Legacy. “Clave Legacy will take the audience through a journey of pure holiday nostalgia with the incomparable sound of congas, timbales and aggressive piano ‘montunos’. I encourage everybody to join us, make new season memories and turn their ‘silent night’ into a warm Latin jazz experience!”
