Holiday Ceramic Ornaments
In this one day workshop, students will use clay slabs and cookie cutters to create their own unique ceramic ornaments! Pieces will be underglazed during class time, and finished ornaments will be fired with clear glaze overtop. Students will be contacted about returning to pick up their completed ornaments, please allow up to 5 weeks so that pieces can be dired, fired, clear glazed, and fired again before pick up.
Nicole Gencarelli is an arts administrator and artist based in the Lehigh Valley. Her artistic background is in painting, fiber arts, printmaking, mixed media, and art history. She has an ongoing fiber series of animal skeleton embroideries, which are inspired by her childhood fondness for natural history and natural curiosities.
