This show will contain adult language and/or situations. Seating will be assigned by ArtsQuest staff upon arrival into the showroom. Anyone coming in between the ages of 13 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No child 12 or under will be admitted. Iron Comedy Competition
The Comedy Triathlon, Iron Comedy Competition™, is a high-energy, interactive comedy show that debuted at The West Side Comedy Club in Manhattan and has been a strong draw for clubs and venues looking for something fresh, competitive, and audience-driven.
Iron Comedy Competition is a Comedy Triathlon that features two comedians competing head-to-head in three events:
– Stand-Up
– One-Liner Challenge
– Roast Battle
The audience decides the winner by applause, making the show fast-paced, unpredictable, and highly engaging.
The show was created and is produced by Bill McLaughlin, an international performer and instructor, and co-founder of Chicago City Limits, New York City’s longest-running comedy revue. Bill has taught and directed improvisational comedy programs at Chicago City Limits, The Manhattan Comedy School, and Bucks County Playhouse, and has been a guest instructor in London, the U.S., and Europe. In addition to live performance, he produces comedy for corporate events, national sales meetings, and trade shows.
Iron Comedy Competition has been a recurring feature at Comedy Cabaret in Doylestown, PA, along with other venues throughout the region.
