Cinema Nomad is an arts and culture-focused travel series that explores various nations through the lens of the country’s cinematic past, present and future.
In each episode, our cinephile host, Stephanie Gardner, takes viewers on a journey around the world through the eyes and experiences of filmmakers from a diverse set of backgrounds, delving into their hopes, dreams, and desires.
Each episode delves into the country’s history and socio-political context while viewers are immersed in the local filmmakers’ day-to-day lives, visiting their homes, neighborhoods, workplaces, hang-outs, and the locations that inspire their creativity.
The series is ultimately about curiosity, empathy, connection, and the universal power of storytelling to bridge cultures and deepen understanding.
Two episodes of Cinema Nomad will be screened followed by a post-screening discussion with Cinema Nomad creator, director and host, Stephanie Gardner.
