The Dracu-Las
Surf Rock
The Dracu-Las are a vocal harmony-driven Rock ‘n’ Roll outfit based in Jersey City. Formed in the fall of 2021, they play garage Rock ‘N Roll with elements of punk, power pop, surf, psych, post punk, and 60’s girl groups sprinkled throughout. The band is comprised of Kyna Damewood (lead vocals, guitar), Susan Lutin (bass, backing vocals), Dave Dufrane (guitar), and Mitch Cady (drums).
The four-piece turned heads with their debut EP, Fever Dream, released in December 2022 on cassette via State Champion Records. They followed up with their first 7″ titled Fall Asleep When I’m Dead, released in 2024 on Power Trash Records. A second 7″, I’m Blue, is out now on Outro Records.
