Community Paint Workshop

Join artist Joseph lacona, for a FREE community paint workshop at the Bethlehem Visitors Center presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network, part of Jefferson Health on Wednesday, July 29th from 5 – 6:30 p.m. Joseph’s mural will be installed at the new ArtsQuest Creative Factory powered by PPL. You are invited to help bring the mural to lifel All are welcome regardless of age or artistic ability!

Come for the community paint workshop and stay for the free family movie, Monsters Inc., at the Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks.

Joseph Eduardo Iacona

Joseph Eduardo Iacona is a Philadelphia-based artist, muralist, and community engagement strategist with over 15 years of experience in the arts and culture sector. As the founder of Iacona Arts LLC and former Director of the Mural Arts Institute for Mural Arts Philadelphia (the nation’s largest public art non-profit), Joseph has dedicated his career to national field-building including teaching collaborative mural-making methodologies. He has facilitated mural training and artist exchanges for public art practitioners globally, including projects with the U.S. State Department (Italy), the Health Federation of Philadelphia (Ukraine), and the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia (Germany). As a recently distinguished guest of the United Nations for the World Public Art Conference, his approach integrates restorative community engagement with high-level project management, empowering both artists and administrators with the practical tools required to execute impactful, large-scale mural projects.
