Applications Open
ArtsQuest Ceramic Community Studio Program

Deadline to Apply: Artists who submit applications by August 31, 2026, will be notified of acceptance or waitlist status by September 30th, 2026. Artists may be contacted by ArtsQuest staff for a brief interview before being notified of acceptance, waitlist, or not accepted.
ArtsQuest’s Ceramic Community Studio program is a shared studio space for ceramic artists. Members will be assigned a keycard that provides 24/7 access to the Community Studio workspace, which includes five pottery wheels, a slab roller, worktables, sinks, and storage space. The glazing room will be available to Community Studio members during business hours outside of scheduled classes or programs.
The Ava Grace Maitz Ceramic Community Studio is intended for experienced ceramic artists who are seeking a space to work independently. Prospective members should be knowledgeable about the ceramic process from start to finish and should be able to work safely and proficiently without oversight. To become a Ceramic Community Studio member, all artists must complete an application, which will be reviewed by ArtsQuest staff. Applicants may be contacted for a brief interview. Space is limited, so applying does not guarantee acceptance—when the Ceramic Community Studio is at capacity, applicants can join the waitlist to be contacted when space becomes available.
