Mixed Media for Families
“Make art and create memories in this mixed media class for families. Young artists ages 3+ and their adults will explore common materials, techniques, and experiments to use in mixed media art. Discover art history, culture, and traditions found in mixed media art, and learn fundamental principles of design, texture, and composition in a fun and supportive environment. This class will work with a variety of materials, which may include acrylic paint, watercolors, collage, fabric, found objects and more. All participants need their own ticket. Children must attend with an adult.”
Monica Salazar
Monica Salazar Tituaña is a South American Native and Visual Artist. She has resided in the Lehigh Valley for more than fifteen years. Salazar graduated from Tyler School of Art at Temple University with a BA in Visual Studies. Additionally she studied Castilian Language at Universidad Central del Ecuador. She is a Rostered Teaching Artist at the Banana ArtsQuest in Bethlehem for over four years as well as the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts. Salazar has created and taught in several artist residency programs. Salazar has worked with children, adolescents, and young adults from a very early age having begun tutoring in her early adulthood.
