Salsa
Pancho Bongo Y Su Orquesta is a high Classic Salsa Bank resonating through the Tristate area and East Coast and currently expanding to the Mid-Eastern States causing a true explosion and come back to the roots and elegance of worldwide Classical Salsa. The band ranges from five for small latin jazz settings to 12 professional top musicians. The band has performed and is currently performing at various Night Clubs, Festivals and Private Engagements. This band offers a diverse variety of music consisting of Classic Salsa, Merengue and Latin Jazz. The band was founded in 2014 by the Director and percussionist, Felix “Pancho Bongo” Alicea, Jr. Pancho Bongo started playing the bongos and other percussion instruments at an early age. His passion is playing the bongos. He has performed with multiple world-renowned artists such as Viti Ruiz, Frankie Vazquez, Kevin Ceballo, Cuco Valoy, Hector Tricoche, Ricky Luis, Alex D’Castro, Paquito Guzman, Tony Vega, Choco Orta, & Luigi de Texido.
