Herencia Jibara is a Puerto Rican folk group that focuses on maintaining their roots alive. Musica tipica is at the core of the group, but they bring with them all of the sounds and flavors of the Caribbean. Beautiful melodies and rhythms allow the publics minds to be transported through music. Their chemistry and energy flows through their music in harmony which is present in every song they perform. You will find instruments such as El Cuatro Puertorriqueño, Spanish Guitar, Guiro Puertorriqueño, Congas, Timbales, and Bongos. This group keeps it simple in instrumentation but big in sound! Come ready to dance to some salsa, merengue, bachata, plena, and more.
