SteelStacks High School Jazz Band Showcase Finals
Following three preliminary rounds of competition, six area high school jazz bands have advanced to the finals of the 2026 SteelStacks High School Jazz Band Showcase presented by King, Spry, Herman, Freund & Faul, LLC.
Tickets for the finals are $7 plus fees and on sale at www.artsquest.org and 610-332-3378.
Scholastic jazz groups from Pennsylvania and New Jersey performed in front of a live audience and a judging panel comprised of music educators this past February and March. The finalists are:
- Upper Moreland High School Jazz One
- Kutztown High School Jazz Ensemble
- Pennridge High School Jazz Ensemble
- Southern Lehigh High School Jazz Society
- Central Bucks High School South Jazz Ensemble
- Easton Area High School Jazz Ensemble
During the finals, each band will perform a 20-minute set before a live audience and the judges. The event will also include a performance by the Moravian University Faculty Band, as well as the official awards presentation for the competition’s top soloists and sections.
The competition is a music-in-education program of ArtsQuest and the Moravian University Music Department’s Jazz Studies Program.
