Kat Reinhert
Songwriting for Music Educators; Berklee College of Music

Kat Reinhert is a songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, bandleader, and producer whose work bridges jazz, pop, and experimental songwriting. In addition to multiple singles and a recent EP, she has released five independently produced albums and collaborated with artists including Anat Fort, Jo Lawry, Ross Pederson, Michael Leonhart, Josh Logan, Stephen Lit, and David Cook, as well as written music for Sesame Street and podcast themes. She is a Professor of Songwriting at Berklee College of Music and, based between Boston and New York City, continues to perform, write, and develop new artistic projects.

Billie Marie Feather
University of North Carolina at Greensboro

Billie Marie Feather is a guitarist, songwriter, banjoist, and bassist from the Allegheny Mountains of Johnstown, PA, with advanced training in classical guitar, jazz studies, and recording engineering from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and North Carolina Central University. A certified Suzuki Guitar Instructor, she maintains an active teaching studio and currently serves on the faculty at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as Lecturer of Commercial Guitar (and Banjo) and Coordinator of Popular Music Ensembles, following previous appointments at Meredith College and Washington State University. An award-winning educator and performer, Billie is active across genres—from bluegrass and punk to classical and country-rock—leads her own project, The Hallway Waltz, and is the founder of the mobile recording venture Feather Farm Recordings and Feather Farm Records.

Shawn David Young
York College of Pennsylvania

Shawn David Young, PhD is director of Music Industry Studies at York College of Pennsylvania, where he also serves as faculty advisor to York Music Group (YMG), a student-run record label and production company. Dr. Young is Vice President of the Music & Entertainment Industry Educators Association (MEIEA) and serves as an education ambassador for the Mechanical Licensing Collective (MLC). Specializing in cultural history and critical cultural theory, Dr. Young has published research on topics such as rock music history, the counterculture of the 1960s, music festivals, the politics of popular music, Christian rock, and the changing landscape of popular religious music.

Anne Sturm
Concert & Event Resource, LLC

Anne Sturm is a seasoned music industry professional and the owner of Concert & Event Resource, LLC, a consulting and talent-buying firm that supports venues, promoters, and artist management teams. With more than a decade of experience booking and managing concerts and festivals, she has worked with artists at every stage of their careers—from local to emerging talent to nationally recognized acts—across events ranging from intimate performances to large-scale productions. Her expertise spans talent buying, programming strategy, event operations, and production management- equipping organizations with a strong toolbox of skills to help them deliver high-quality, financially sustainable live music experiences.

Ty A. Furman
Williams Center for the Arts Performance Series – Lafayette College

Furman has spent his career at the intersection of arts and higher education building student and community engagement in the arts and developing residencies with artists from all over the word including Dee Dee Bridgewater, Laurie Anderson, The Nile Project, and Marc Bamuthi Joseph. He co-founded the award winning BU Global Music Festival at Boston University, and has served as a grant reviewer for the Boston Foundation, The National Endowment for the Arts, and Boston Public School Arts Expansion.

Rachel Hill
Blue Raven Entertainment / Indigo Talent

Rachel graduated in 2011 from William Paterson University with a bachelor’s degree in Music Management. Ten years later, she returned as an adjunct professor teaching Structure & Content of the Music Industry. She got her start in the business at Roadrunner Records, followed by Sony / Jive Records, later linking up with Gilday at the ground floor of Blue Raven Entertainment. Over the past 15 years, she helped to build that company into one of the nation’s leading boutique booking and management agencies specializing in the nation’s top tribute artists. In 2024, she was named partner at Indigo Talent whose roster includes legendary artists such as Darlene Love, Stephen Bishop, Graham Parker, Emerson Lake & Palmer and more.
