Musikfest 2026 is approaching and training sessions are starting soon! If you have applied for Musikfest and have not signed up for a training session, please head over to the portal and sign up for a session! Each session will consist of an approximately 30-minute general overview session with breakout sessions following. Below is a breakdown of which breakout sessions are being held on what days.

Monday, June 29th
- 6:00pm – Site Supervisor Meeting (Fowler Blast Furnace Room 2nd Floor @ The ArtsQuest Center)
- This training is for Site Supervisors, Site Supervisor Shadows, and Stage Managers only
Monday, July 6th
- 6:00pm – General Orientation (Musikfest Café @ ArtsQuest Center)
- 6:30pm – Alcohol Server Training (Musikfest Café @ ArtsQuest Center)
- 6:30pm – Cash Conversion/Information Training (Fowler Blast Furnace Room @ ArtsQuest Center)
- 6:30pm – Base Communication Training (Wind Creek Deck @ ArtsQuest Center / 4th Floor Musikfest Café Balcony as weather alternate)

- 10:00am – General Orientation (Musikfest Café @ ArtsQuest Center)
- 10:30am – Cash Conversion/Information Training (Musikfest Café @ ArtsQuest Center)
- 10:30am – Staging Training (Fowler Blast Furnace Room @ ArtsQuest Center)

How to Sign up for Training!
Go to https://www.artsquest.org/get-involved/volunteer/ and click “existing volunteer” to sign into the portal and register for training! If you are having trouble accessing the portal you can also register by emailing volunteer-dept@artsquest.org.
Training is mandatory. If you are unable to make an in-person training, you will need to review the training materials online and then complete an online quiz to show you understand basic Musikfest policies. If you have not attended a training or completed an online quiz by Monday, July 20th, your Musikfest schedule will be deleted, and we will not reschedule you until training is complete. Contact a member of the Volunteer Team to receive the online materials.
You may attend multiple trainings if you are volunteering for more than one position. You only need to participate in General Orientation once, and you will be on the list for packet pickup for whichever date you officially sign up for. Otherwise, you may arrive at 6:30 and focus only on the breakout session of your choice.
If you are volunteering with a Group, you should be receiving training materials and supplies from your group contact, who may be organizing training visits for your group. Please reach out to them or Parker Ryan at pryan@artsquest.org if you have any questions.
