House Teams Auditions – Auditions Currently Closed

Improv House Teams perform every other Saturday at 9:30 p.m. at the Bethlehem Visitor Center at SteelStacks presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network part of Jefferson Health. Rehearsals will be held once a week on Monday or Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. (To be determined by teams general availability)

The round being auditioned starts rehearsing the week of September 29th. Show dates for this round are Oct 18, Nov 1, Nov 15, Nov 29, Dec 6, Dec 20.

Coaches for this round are Matt Candio and Stu Shaw.

Warm Up Open Mic at SteelStacks – Host-in-Residence Submissions Currently Closed

“Warm-Up” Comedy Open Mic Night is the ultimate platform for aspiring comedians in the Lehigh Valley to shine!

The Host in Residence Position is for those who have been performing at open mics regularly and are looking to take their comedy to the next level under the mentorship of a seasoned professional comedian.

Date: Tuesdays, 9/16, 9/30, 10/14,10/28,11/18,12/2
Time: List Opens at 7 p.m., Mic Start at 7:30 p.m.
Location: Bethlehem Visitor Center at SteelStacks presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network part of Jefferson Health

*Those not selected for the hosting residency this season are encourage to reapply next season!

About the Event:
“Warm-Up” Comedy Open Mic Night is your chance to take the stage, workout your material, and showcase your comedic chops. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping onto the stage for the first time, this is your moment to shine! The list is put together through a randomly selected “bucket” structure and is capped at 20 performers.

All Open Mic participants will be considered to be booked on our Stand-Up Showcase, Toasted, Saturday, December 13 at 9:30 p.m. *Subject to change

This season’s Host in Residence will be mentored by comedian, Tyler Rothrock.

Improv JAM-BER-EE

October 21, November 25, December 16

The Improv Jam-ber-EE is a Free, once a month event for improvisors, free agents and teams looking for extra stage time and to be silly with likeminded locals from the Lehigh Valley.

If you want to participate, signups will be at the desk of the Bethlehem Visitors Center presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network part of Jefferson Health. Sets will typically be 10 minutes, but times may vary depending on the number of improvisors who sign up. Spacers are limited.

Each month we will have a different local improvised team host. Free agent improvisors without teams and established teams are all welcome to sign up. Members on teams are also welcomed to sign up as free agents along with their teams. Individuals are limited to 3 sign up spots per show. However, each show will end with one large jam at the end to encourage any and all to play along, this will exclude the 3-spot maximum rule.

Please refrain from being a stage hog.
