Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA, March 31, 2026 – ArtsQuest is thrilled to announce that the One Earth Reggae Festival, presented in partnership with Movement Moves Media, returns for a 5th year on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The event starts at 12 p.m. and has performances across three different stages (Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network, part of Jefferson Health, the Highmark Blue Shield Community Stage on the Air Products Town Square and Williams Brew Stage) until 1:30 a.m. Guests can enjoy performances by globally recognized headliners alongside standout regional and local artists, plus vibrant food vendors and unique craft vendors — all within a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere rooted in peace, love and community.
“For its 5th consecutive year, One Earth Reggae Festival will bring the joyful rhythms of reggae back to the ArtsQuest Campus at SteelStacks,” said Patrick Brogan, ArtsQuest Chief Programming Officer. “Bringing cultures together all while uplifting the community, is what this festival does best. From vibrant melodies to family fun, this is an event where everyone can come together, relax and enjoy the positive energy of the day.”
This year’s One Earth Reggae Festival poster artwork was created by Adam Viola of Space Kamp. Inspired by the bold, simple vibrancy of Keith Haring, Viola’s design captures the energy and inclusivity of the festival.
“I’ve always loved how Keith Haring kept his art simple, vibrant and bold,” said Adam Viola. “With everything going on in the world, I wanted to create something to uplift and reflect unity and positivity without overcomplicating the message.”
One Earth Reggae Festival poster artist and musician, Viola, will be playing a set at the festival as well. Space Kamp is a genre-bending duo blending alternative hip-hop, reggae and psychedelic influences to create a sound they call Rebel Hippies music. Formed in 2017 with the mission to “Break Rules and Spread Love,” their music is rooted in conscious lyricism and uplifting energy, inspiring listeners to live in the moment and embrace life to the fullest.
This year’s One Earth Reggae Festival is headlined by Jesse Royal, a contemporary reggae singer and songwriter from Kingston, Jamaica, known for blending traditional roots reggae with modern influences and socially conscious lyrics. Emerging in the early 2010s, he quickly gained international attention for his rich vocals and messages centered on unity, cultural identity and empowerment.
Often associated with Jamaica’s new generation of roots revival artists, Jesse Royal has released acclaimed projects such as Lily of Da Valley (2017) and Royal (2021), earning a nomination for Best Reggae Album at the Grammy Awards. His music combines classic reggae rhythms with elements of hip-hop, soul and contemporary production, helping introduce roots reggae to younger global audiences. He is known for energetic live performances and has appeared at major international reggae festivals, continuing the legacy of Jamaican roots reggae while pushing the genre forward with a modern perspective.
Other national acts performing at One Earth Reggae Festival include Latino reggae-rock Fayuca and Jamaican pop band The Big Takeover.
Based in Phoenix, Ariz. Fayuca is a reggae-rock/ Latino group, fronted by founding member, Gabo Fayuca. Their sound shifts through genres while blending modern-reggae melodies with Latin percussion, tied seamlessly by razor guitar riffs and progressive rock breakdowns.
Fronted by the charismatic Jamaican-born singer and songwriter Nee Nee Rushie, the seven-piece New York band The Big Takeover plays original music that is rooted in and reverent toward the genres and rhythms of Jamaican pop: reggae, rocksteady and ska. They are devotees of Desmond Dekker and the way the old school did it.
Kick off the festival at noon with a screening of “The Harder They Come” starring Jimmy Cliff, in the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas, or start the afternoon off with a calming all-levels yoga session on the Levitt Lawn, led by Sophie Hami of Hanna Chakra.
