Memorial Day Celebration

May 23-25, 2026
Join Embassy Bank for a weekend of honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country in a community celebration. This commemorative weekend will feature the Hometown Heroes 2026 photo-banner display, live music, and the “A Time to Remember” Ceremony.
Our Hometown Heroes
Presented by Embassy Bank
For the 16th year, the Hometown Heroes Display will transform the SteelStacks Campus into a living memorial honoring over 1800 of our hometown heroes. From May 22 to July 6, the campus will be draped with images of local military heroes as a display of appreciation and gratitude for their sacrifices and contributions. The banners will display photos of the soldiers, their rank, branch of service, era of service and hometown.
Photos will be accepted using the link below starting March 1 through March 31. The first 200 photos received will be accepted for the 2026 display. Photos submitted from 2011-2025 will be included in this years display. Changes will not be made to existing banners unless the soldier has given the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
Photos can also be dropped off in person at a local Embassy Bank branch or at the ArtsQuest Center at 101 Founders Way in Bethlehem. All hard copies will be returned promptly to the location where they were originally submitted.
Images must be of high-resolution jpeg, tiff, bitmap or PDF file. Color photographs, as well as black and white photos will be accepted. All images submitted in previous years will automatically be displayed as part of the “Our Hometown Heroes” display. Changes will not be made to existing banners unless the Soldier has given the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
