In the year 10191, a spice called melange is the most valuable substance known in the universe, and its only source is the desert planet Arrakis. A royal decree awards Arrakis to Duke Leto Atreides and ousts his bitter enemies, the Harkonnens. However, when the Harkonnens violently seize back their fiefdom, it is up to Paul, Leto's son, to lead the Fremen, the natives of Arrakis, in a battle for control of the planet and its spice. In this one night workshop, students will create their own unique pieces of art under guidance of the instructor, Gabriella Gentile. There will be access to a variety of supplies to assist in the artmaking process for student to pick from, and the instructor will explain different techniques to students throughout the workshop.

This exciting FREE program is part of a partnership between ArtsQuest and The Bethlehem Area Public Library. Join us as we look, listen, sing, and have fun with picture books in the Visitor Center at SteelStacks. Led by Bethlehem Area Public Library librarians and ArtsQuest staff members, we will celebrate pictures books with a different art theme each week. Toddler Storytime runs from September through the beginning of June, every Thursday at 10-10:30 a.m. at the SteelStacks campus, with a Bilingual/Spanish Toddler Storytime every second Thursday of the month.

The ColourSound formed in 2004 and immediately began unleashing original tunes on the public. They started with a fan base from the Lehigh Valley and Pocono Mountains. But when they caught on within the New York City fashion industry, they eventually formed pockets of fans in cities across the nation.

This high-energy performance showcases the biggest hit songs, all culminating in a remarkable finale featuring Beatles classics, as if performed live by the Fab Four today. BC Blue is from the Lehigh Valley, PA and formed in 2022 to play nothing but the Blues. Members of this band are among the Lehigh Valley’s highly respected musicians and all have performed in other notable regional bands. Bev Conklin - Vocals New Orleans born and Army dependent, Bev is a Parkland High School and Penn State grad. Bev began with BC & The Blues Crew and performs with singer-songwriter group, The BC Combo. “Chicago” Carl Snyder - Keys From Brooklyn NY, Carl worked with over 60 of the Windy City’s Blues royalty. Joe Mac - Guitar From Chicago, Joe Mac has a resume of experience with the Chicago Blues toured with Nature’s Divine with their one hit I Just Can’t Control Myself. Mitch Shelly – Upright Bass From Quakertown, Mitch Shelly was an original member of Conklin's groups... BC & The Blues Crew, Bluzin and The Girls and performs with many Lehigh Valley groups. BC Blue is 100% Blues and nothing but the Blues.

Laugh along with us, as we play "Whose Line is it Anyway?" style improv games. Local improv team Tim For Short - and friends - will play fast paced games inspired by audience suggestions with Easter and springtime themes. And, it's improv - so everything is made up on the spot!

Mixing the killer-kid subgenre with elements of the then-booming slice-and-dice movie, BLOODY BIRTHDAY shocks and appalls with its scenes of young children shooting, strangling and bludgeoning their way through the local population. They sure don’t make them like this anymore.
