Wine'd Down Workshop: Polymer Clay Jewelry
Spruce up your daily fashion with adorable and charismatic jewelry that attracts tons of compliments, and you can brag that you made these cute creations yourself!
In this workshop, participants will use polymer clay to create their own custom earrings, necklaces, and keychains. Due to the quick and affordable nature of this medium, custom personalized charms and wearable creations are some of the best gifts! Come make earrings with your own pets, favorite food or plant and more… and/or, make a gift for a loved one that they’ll never expect, such as their favorite flower, a personal sentimental item, or anything else you can imagine.
This medium is fantastic for quickly and easily creating durable charms that can be made into any kind of jewelry the mind can imagine. Polymer clay offers a process as simple as: Imagine, mold, bake for 15 minutes, and it is hardened into a delightful little plastic charm!
In this class we will focus on making charms that can be either dangling or stud earrings, as well as necklaces or keychains, but participants will leave with the knowledge of how to expand their creations as far as they can imagine!
Alexandra Schnabel
Alexandra Schnabel is a painter and art instructor based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Rooted in a deep reverence for nature and the act of seeing, her work explores the intersection of external landscapes and internal perception. For Alexandra, painting is as much about process as it is about outcome—each piece a meditative investigation into how we experience and translate the visual world.
Drawing from a wide range of subject matter, she invites open-ended interpretation, valuing the diversity of emotional and perceptual responses her work may evoke. Her paintings have been exhibited at venues including Phillips Mill, The Allentown Art Museum, The Kimmel Center, and Lehigh University. She has been published, most recently including a featured artist segment in Bucks County Magazine.
In addition to her studio practice, Alexandra teaches both group and private lessons from her home studio and through ArtsQuest in Bethlehem. She is passionate about nurturing creative practice in others, and sees teaching as an extension of her own exploration—an opportunity to share the transformative potential of making and perceiving art.
