Intro to Meisner Technique with Katina Sossiadis
From Timothee Chalamet to Sandra Bullock, this multi-week class studies the Sanford Meisner Technique, the act of living in the moment and uses improvisational tools for acting whether it is stand up, comedy, film, or theater.
Katina Sossiadis began her film career in New York City, working on major productions such as Far From Heaven and Analyze That. She went on to co-write and co-direct the short film Lynn’s Wake with her sister, which was well received by several festivals, including the Austin Film Festival. Katina also directed the documentary Virgins of New York, which screened successfully at festivals such as the Black Maria Film Festival and the Coney Island Film Festival.
In 2017, Katina and her sister Koula co-directed their first feature film, Epiphany. The film earned distribution through BMG Entertainment. The sisters recently completed production on their second feature, The Next Play, filmed in the Lehigh Valley. It is slated for release in 2026.
