Felt Tea Bag Bookmarks Workshop
These cute little teabag bookmarks make the perfect gift for any book lover, or the perfect afternoon craft activity to do with friends! Students will use templates to cut out the tea bag shapes from felt and then use basic embrodiery stiching, plus additional embellishments like beads or sequins, to create different designs! Students will be able to finish at least one completed bookmark, but can make another one or two as gifts if time allows!
Nicole Gencarelli is an arts administrator and artist based in the Lehigh Valley. Her artistic background is in painting, fiber arts, printmaking, mixed media, and art history. She has an ongoing fiber series of animal skeleton embroideries, which are inspired by her childhood fondness for natural history and natural curiosities. Her work has been exhibited locally and regionally since 2010.
