DIY Alt Fabric Patches Workshop
Participants are creating messages on patches. Patches typically range to include personal phrases, music/bands you love, names, symbols, dates…anything you love!
What is DIY? DIY means Do it yourself. This is part of the Goth Scene and it is meant to remind you and everyone of their unique authenticity. Be you and be fearless.
No prior experience is necessary. If you can write a message you can create a patch!
Patches will be pre cut for you. Participants can create up to five patches to be sewn on your item of choice.
Sewing experience? No problem! I will show you basic stitching techniques to sew your patch on your stuff. It is very easy you can do it!
Participant are encouraged to bring in an old tote bag, back bag, shirt etc. If you have nothing, I will provide a basic plain tote bag.
Share in Goth/Alt Music while creating art that you can carry with you.
