Angels made out of clay

Clay Angels Workshop

In this class we will create various angels from patterns or your own designs made from air dry clay. They will air dry over a week to then create a hard durable surface. The next time we meet we will color the surface with either water colors or colored pencil. The pieces will then be sprayed with a fixative to preserve the surface and make them ready to hang. This is a fun class in which you can make a lasting memory in clay.

About Gable Young

Gable Young studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of The Fine Arts and the University of The Arts in a dual enrollment program. They received a BFA, Certificate of painting, and a PA teachers certification.

Young has continued to teach both privately and in schools. They worked for 8 years making backdrops for high school plays and musicals which stretched their creative imagination and speed of work.

Currently Gable travels doing juried art/craft shows and continues to work in both clay and oils. The most recent focus in on clay vessels which are altered and added to with hand-built additions and political themes.
