Teen Takeover
Who put the teens in charge?
Oh, wait… we did.
Participants in Teen Takeover events explore careers in the arts through workshops with art professionals and experience hands-on visual arts classes.
Teens also get to curate and create content for a culminating Teen Takeover event, collectively they decide on the music playlist, drop-in activities, performance and an exhibition of their work, all while making a meaningful impact in their community.
Opportunities include earning community service hours, and the program is offered at no cost. Teen Takeover welcomes teens ages 13–17, encouraging creativity, leadership and connection in a supportive environment.
