ArtsQuest Artist Studios at 930 Hamilton Invites Local Artists to Apply

Affordable, Rent-Subsidized Studio Spaces Opening Spring 2026

Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA. December 9, 2025 – ArtsQuest is accepting applications for its brand new ArtsQuest Artist Studios at 930 Hamilton Street in downtown Allentown. Scheduled to open in March 2026, these rent-subsidized studios offer local artists a professional space to create, collaborate and engage with the community.

The location places artists at the center of a rapidly evolving creative district, steps from popular Allentown venues such as Archer Music Hall and the Moxy Hotel. The ArtsQuest Artist Studios at 930 Hamilton offer 21 studios ranging from 200 to 900 sq. ft., designed to be affordable, secure and fully equipped with essential amenities. In addition to studio space, artists will have opportunities for:

  • Exhibition and public programming, including a monthly feature during Third Thursday.
  • Paid teaching opportunities and community outreach programs through ArtsQuest and the Pennsylvania Creative Industries.
  • Collaborative spaces, including shared lounges and artist gathering areas.

“ArtsQuest is committed to providing opportunities for artists in our community,” said Lisa Harms, ArtsQuest’s Senior Director of Visual Arts and Education. “The new studios at 930 Hamilton will provide local artists with affordable space to create and sell their work. The ArtsQuest Artist Studios will also integrate a community of artists directly into the vibrant arts scene in Allentown to foster collaboration and creativity.”

Artists must demonstrate dedication to their craft, a collaborative spirit and alignment with ArtsQuest’s mission of providing access to the arts and culture in the community. Applications will be reviewed by a committee of ArtsQuest staff, local artists and community stakeholders, with priority given to early applicants as studios become available.

Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis. Artists are encouraged to submit their materials soon to be considered to the initial round of placements.
