Angels of the Valley
The Angels of the Valley banner project aims to raise awareness of the issue of drug overdose and reduce the stigma associated with people who have lost their lives due to the disease of substance abuse.
This project also recognizes the grief felt by families and friends in our community who have lost a loved one as a result of drug use. The banners signify the passing of someone cherished and sends a message that the tragedy of drug-related death is preventable, and those who are suffering should feel no shame in asking for help.
Photos of loved ones will be accepted starting July 8-August 10. The banners will be displayed on the SteelStacks campus beginning on August 31 through the month of September, which is National Recovery Month.
Submissions for 2025 are closed.
