ArtsQuest Announces Tehani Boyer as Head of Communications

Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA, January 30, 2025 –  ArtsQuest today announced Tehani Boyer has joined the organization to lead strategic communications, media relations and storytelling efforts across its year-round programming, festivals, education initiatives and community events.

Boyer brings more than 15 years of experience shaping integrated communications strategies for purpose-driven organizations across technology, sustainability, consumer lifestyle and non-profit sectors. A former municipal reporter, she began her career at The Daily Record in Parsippany, NJ, where she developed a strong foundation in regional storytelling, public accountability and audience-first narratives.

Most recently, Boyer held communications roles at Panasonic North America and Honeywell where she led external communications campaigns spanning sustainability, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, defense, specialty chemicals and STEM/STEAM education initiatives. She previously served as public relations manager for Century 21 Real Estate, and held earlier agency positions supporting nonprofits, healthcare and consumer brands.

“Tehani brings a rare combination of newsroom instincts, corporate methodologies and deep respect for community-driven storytelling,” said Curt Mosel, Chief Operating Officer at ArtsQuest. “Her background as a reporter and communications leader makes her uniquely suited to elevate ArtsQuest’s voice, strengthen our media presence, and help tell the story of how the arts connect people, celebrate culture, and drive impact across the Lehigh Valley.”

In her new role, Boyer will oversee ArtsQuest’s communications strategy across earned, owned, and digital channels, leading all media relations efforts including proactive pitching, media response, and issues management, supporting signature events such as Musikfest and Christkindlmarkt, as well as year-round programming in music, film, visual and performing arts, comedy, education, and community engagement. She will also focus on advancing executive visibility, strengthening regional and national media relationships, and amplifying ArtsQuest’s mission during a critical moment for arts organizations navigating evolving funding and access challenges.

“ArtsQuest has transformed a former industrial site into one of the most vibrant arts and cultural campuses in the country, while staying deeply rooted in the history and people of Bethlehem,” said Boyer. “I’m excited to bring my experience in intentional storytelling to an organization that believes so strongly in the power of the arts to connect communities, foster inclusion, and spark creativity.”

Boyer holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA)’s New Jersey chapter.
